In Varkala, Kerala, we arrived at the end of the three day Durga Puja. Durga is a reincarnation of Lakshmi. This giant pillar was run around the temple three times, shaken and leaned as much as possible. At 1am we were awkened by the loudest drum explosion sounds ever, I can't even imagine what was making the sound, then music was blasted on loudspeakers for hours.

Wow! How fun was that?! Just found this one. Must have missed it on the little screen where TCS said it had been all the time.
