Ellora Caves

Buddhist and Hindu hand carved caves in Ellora.  This Hindu temple is the largest monolithic structure in the world.  Buddha stars in the other image.  We stayed in Aurangabad to visit Ellora and Ajanta.  Ajanta is older and filled with amazing paintings and because of that is slightly better cared for--there are lights in the caves.  I preferred Ellora because there were innumerable bats and no ugly lights.
