Another impromptu parade, another day. Sunday evening at the beach in Pondicherry, the whole town was there for a stroll along the thin strip of sand to throw their styrofoam all over the place. These guys had a full band and danced stupid for 10 minutes. It was amazing. I'm starting a similar troupe upon our return. Notice the Bay of Bengal in the background.

Were the costumed guys the gods who got to pick up their groceries in the market? Good gig! Does anyone truly believe they are gods, or are they just good entertainment?
