At sunset at the "monkey temple" in Jaipur 5,000 monkeys come to the temple. We bought some peanuts and waited and waited and left after the wave of monkeys had clearly passed. Maybe ten showed up at the temple while a hundred or two cruised passed and just hung out on the hillside. Or was it a mountain?
Arati fed this one two peanuts and he didn't want a third; he wanted the whole pocketful and took a pretty mean swipe at her. We were told they're peaceful monkeys.
This hip priest lives at the temple, also known as the "sun temple," with his wife and two kids. Cool shirt. Wait, what?
