Observatory, Jaipur

The long distance shot is taken from the Halwa Mahal, or Wind Palace, the front of which is the real draw, but the back provided a nice view on the incredibly sandy hazy day of the observatory, palace, and fort.
The observatory dates to the 1700s and is a gint park filled with strange geometrical structures.  The explanations for which were unintelligible.  Something about zenith and azimuth and heavenly bodies.  One of them could tel the time within twenty seconds.
