Bishnupur

We took a bus from Basudha to Bishnupur, 22km away, a little over an hour. The only bus of the day at 7:10 am, packed with villagers inside and on the roof.  Bishnupur is famous for it's 80 terracotta temples, we hadn't seen anything like them.  Also famous for it's silk which it used to trade with Thailand via a now dried up river, thanks to a local dam (maybe you can find images of boats in the terracotta).  We didn't learn about the silk until after we were there.
